About Us

Scenic view of mountains and vegetation outside the Elks Lodge.

Pull into 2951 S Cam Mercado on a Friday night and you'll hear it before you see it: laughter spilling out the doors, a karaoke singer hitting a high note, boots shuffling across the dance floor. The Green Valley Elks Lodge has that lived-in, storied quality that newer venues can't manufacture. The building carries its history honestly, and the members inside carry on a tradition the B.P.O.E. has kept alive since 1868.

This lodge earns its 4.5-star reputation the old-fashioned way: showing up for the community. Members organize charitable drives, sponsor youth programs, and funnel volunteer hours into causes that actually move the needle in southern Arizona. That work is the backbone of everything the lodge does, and it's what keeps longtime members renewing year after year despite any bumps along the road.

What We Offer

The karaoke nights are a genuine draw, drawing regulars and first-timers alike to the mic on a rotating weekly schedule. Beyond the singing, the lodge hosts dances, social mixers, and member-only events that give the Green Valley retirement community a real place to gather and connect.

Membership opens the door to the full calendar: charitable volunteering opportunities, access to the bar and lounge, discounted event tickets, and reciprocal privileges at Elks lodges across the country. Whether you're a longtime Elk transferring from another chapter or a local resident curious about joining, the lodge welcomes inquiries and offers guest nights so you can see the culture firsthand before committing.

"This is a wonderful spot to enjoy karaoke, dance, and catch up with friends. The building has a charming old vibe, and while there's a bit of a smell outside when you first arrive, you'll find the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Just a quick tip—it's best to eat beforehand since they only offer small microwave pizza and popcorn, with no other food options available."

"Appears to be gross mismanagement. Just raised Do's and drink to try to make up for lost revenue. Many in our group will not be renewing their membership. Some are transferring. Sad That one of the best elks, and the nation has gone downhill."

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
